What To Expect

We at New Life Christian Church (NLCC) believe that one service can change your entire life. We believe that the word of God can deliver us from a multitude of sins and wash us white as snow. The word of God is proclaimed in a practical, yet powerful way, while compassion is administered without measure. After all, love is the defining mark of a Christian. So join us, while we, as the Body of Christ, worship the Father “in spirit and in truth.”

We understand that we are not a perfect church, but believe that you joining us or partnering with us will bring us that much closer.

Our Order of Worship

Ministry of Worship

This is a time in our service when we express our love for God. This expression may take place in a variety of ways: singing, clapping, shouting, dancing, etc. Sometimes we are silent. At other times we are loud (Psalm 66:1). You may worship in the way the Spirit of the Lord leads you, as long as it is decent and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).

Ministry of Giving

3 types of Giving

    1. Tithe: The tithe is 10% of your income. “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse….” (Malachi 3:10)

    2. Thank Offering: This is an offering over and above your tithe. (Amos 4:5)

    3. Mission: We partner with over 140 churches in Southern Africa and Trinidad and support them on an ongoing basis; this is our missions work. All monies received go directly to support our missionary efforts.

    • In the triune God-Father, Son, Holy Ghost.

    • Jesus Christ is True God and True Man.

    • The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person.

    • It is the Will of God that every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit.

    • Manifestations of the Holy Spirit through the nine gifts, including speaking in other tongues.

    • The Old and New Testament both speak God’s divinely inspired Words.

    • All have sinned and are in need of salvation.

    • Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.

    • The Church is the body of Christ and consists of all of those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

    • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust.

Why We Worship

The Father Seeks It

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:23)

Jesus Christ Deserves It

“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Revelation 4:10,11)

The Holy Spirit Prompts It

“And they… were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.” (Acts 10:45,46)

The Bible Commands It

“Then saith Jesus… for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Matthew 4:10)
