Water baptism follows conversion if you are born again. After repenting of your sins, trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and inviting Him into your life, water baptism follows. Water baptism is an act of obedience to Jesus’ commandment in scripture for those who follow Him.

“And Jesus come and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”  (Mathew 28:18-19)
